Dear Colleagues,

The 6th Turkic World Orthopaedics and Traumatology Congress, previously held successfully in Baku, Almaty, Sarajevo, Bishkek, and Shusha, will take place in Tashkent on 17–20 September 2026, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kimyo International University in Tashkent, and the Bone and Joint Surgery Association.

In addition to serving as a cultural and scientific bridge that brings together the Turkic scientific community, the congress will also offer participants the opportunity to closely experience the historical texture of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, one of the oldest centers of Turkic civilization.

Tashkent is one of the historical and cultural centers of Central Asia and an important symbol of the Turkic-Islamic heritage. Since the 16th century, it has developed as a significant center of science, craftsmanship, and cultural interaction, bringing Turkic peoples together. Today, with its ancient traditions, architectural richness, and modern development, Tashkent continues to maintain its important place in the history and culture of the Turkic world.

The gathering of physicians from the Turkic world represents not only an opportunity for scientific exchange, but also an expression of shared goals and historical unity in many fields. Enriched by the contributions of distinguished scientists from Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Greece, the congress will address current topics in Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Following the scientific program, social and cultural events introducing the rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan will also be organized.

This congress is not only an academic platform for scientific exchange, but also an expression of the shared history, challenges, and achievements of the Turkic world, as well as a demonstration of a common will for future cooperation.
